Build Selected - Looking for Compatibility Issues

I've picked out all the parts, but could use some experts to take a look for compatibility issues. I'm also open to any other general opinions.

The computer isn't for gaming, but rather light usage, perhaps the occasional DVD. Just want something faster than my current paperweight.

SAMSUNG CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-222AB - OEM

HITACHI 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 Power Supply
AMD Phenom II X4 925 Deneb 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core

Was also tinkering with getting a SSD since I don't need the 500GB and the price is comparable.

I appreciate the help!

Thank you!

More about build selected compatibility issues
  1. 40gb is too small imo.. need 64 at least - $99.99
Crucial M4 CT064M4SSD2 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
  2. Get an AM3+ motherboard for a little future proofing oh upgrading the CPU

If you plan to put the OS on the SSD then it will do could probably put small apps on it but it will boot the OS and apps super fast.
  3. What about gpu?
  4. I was thinking the same thing but its not for gaming
