Rage Performance driver not working

Hi.....
I tried to install Rage performance driver preview 3..
and it has ruiend every other game... and now the frame rate on Dirt 3,Dirt 2 and even on crysis 2 are onlt 20 to 22... and annoying freeezing...
i hv tried to rollback the drivers but nothing is working help me

As a side thing to this, im running a SLI system and i had to disable 1 of my GPX cards for it to run smooth with the latest WQL Nvidia drivers. I have downloaded the latest BETA driver and it improved the gameplay 10 fold, there still is some frame lagg here and there, but a 95% improvement.

The only thing i can think of doing, is getting the driver removal tool and start a fresh install of drivers. This usually works for me when i have driver troubles. (The reason i went back to Nvidia over ATI/AMD cards)

but am stuck with the Ati.. i have removed the drivers with driver clean pro and then did a fresh install but nothing has cahnge...
so am still facing freezes and slow frame rates in every game.

Maybe a system restore before the problem arised would help? I had to reformat my system when i swapped from ATI to Nvidia. This was going back to the ATI 9800Pro days though (fair few years)
