I would get the hawk for the dual fans, some of the evga single fan cards have mem problems after a while, unless you have really good case cooling.

The Hawk at Newegg is $160. The rebate "card" (not a check) won't help you pay for it - especially 8-12 weeks down the road. OP, you need to give us a maximum price.

How many PCI-E connectors do you have if 1 you can't get the 460 that needs 2 connectors. the 6850 only needs 1

the 6850 is a little bit faster(5%) then the 460. But the 6850's power consumption is much better!.

I would recommend avoiding Cooler Master entirely. They are not a very good brand and the power supply is the last component you would want to go cheap on. Stick with quality manufacturers like Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, etc.

That Thermaltake is not good at all but the Antec unit is high quality and can handle any of the cards you have mentioned.

I also put a vote toward the GTX460 HAWK OC. Personally, I just bought this for myself. Should arrive today! A reasonable step up from my 5770 for my budget build. Now I'm putting my old 5770 in my son's new build!

I was going to provide a link to the deal I got, but its over now. I picked mine up for $115 after rebate! Can't wait to overclock this thing. All the reviews I've read can overclock this to within a few FPS of a 560TI!

The HD6850 and GTX 460 are basically equal in performance at reference speeds. At the prices you linked I would only bother with the GTX 460 if you plan on giving it a high overclock.

the 6790 is a bit anaemic, to be honest. get the 6850 or the 460 otherwise you might end up regretting it

What resolution will you be using? At 1080p I would stick with an HD6850 or GTX 460. If you resolution is lower then tell us and we will recommend appropriate cards.
As for the PSU on the pages you linked I'd probably get the Antec BP500U or the FSP Blue Storm 500w.

6970 is not as powerfull as the the other two cards and it wouldn't be worth skimping.

The 500 watt antec PSU from galaxy would work or

TR2 RX 550W-MODULAR (W0134RE) on the same website.

You could go without modular but its kinda a pain in the ass

Cooler Master ain't great, specially with the lower end models. Antec is good quality, so is Corsair, XFX and they all work with amd, certified or not.
Otherwise take the 600W version or something.

The Antec PSU is third on list you linked from galaxy. Just forget about Cooler Master. They are a poor brand and best avoided.

More like 750W cooler master but even then only a noob would buy it. (  I got one, a cooler master gx750W, bought it when i was still 100% noob in stead of now maybe 50% )
