i3-2100 Bottleneck?

May have posted in the wrong spot but..When I play BF3 I get CPU lagg as in when I move my mouse left and right very fast my character on screen well take a few seconds to respond along with just low fps in general like 40fps on low settings depending on map @ 1920x1080, and when I check CPU usage its 90-100% (GPU is at 40% so its not that). Now I know I need a better CPU but, would disabling Hypertheading possibly make the game run better? I know what hypertheading does and all that good stuff. Wondered if anyone knows or have tried it.

Something is wrong, the i3-2100 should be perfectly fine. Are the drivers updated? Try the new nvidia beta drivers.

I really have no idea I can run ultra with no AA and x8 AF and still not get much more then 40-50fps because of my CPU basically pegging at 100%. I have just updated my drivers for Nvidia. I am going to try to disable HT to see if they helps at all (if it does thats weird).

Disabling HT made my FPS go from 40-50 to 30-40 so im turning that back on.

I guess it is fine because when I closed Firefox after the game loaded and messed with some video settings. 60fps Constant only dips to about 50 at times SCORE!
