Just looking for some feedback on my setup; this should run most games at max settings @1920x1080 around 60FPS right?

Splendid
It is a nice set up but two things you should know is the i7 2600k is the best but you will only use about 30 to 40% of unless you are going to do hyper threading and maybe sometime down the road games will require it.

Also the HD 6970 with 2GB of Vram. Unless you are going to use more resolution than 1920 x 1200 then the 2GB is a waste of money.

Now it you were going to run two or more monitors at resolution than yes. But you are using one card this no need fore the 2GB Vram. Other than that It is a nice rig. And good luck to ya
