Can i save my GTS 250"?

Hey all,
Well im a broke college student and i recently was cleaning out my pc off dust.. and when i plugged everything back in and booted my computer i had it running for about an hour... and when i came back the computer was off, I realized that i forgot to plug the fan back in and the card over-heated to death... thought it was my mobo because my pc wouldnt even post... turns out i burnt my GTS 250 card and i have no money to buy a new card... i was wondering if there is anything i can do to fix my card? i dont know much about the guts of a gpu but im turning to this forum to see if maybe a more tech savvy person can help me out!

What fan are you talking about? The GTS 250's fan is plugged in under the cover. Did you remove the card's cover/fan housing to clean it? If you dai and left the cable unplugged, the GPU is probably dead.

Did you remove the fan of that GPU?
Does it still have warranty? RMA that card.
