What is your opinion on Fraps?

iv been using for a while now but lately im beginning to wonder if my benchmarks are accurate. id like to be as close to the actual fps as possible but im not sure if fraps, itself, is lagging the game.

do you think fraps makes any impact on your fps or not?

The impact on frame rates should be negligible unless you are using Fraps to record game play.
Personally I use MSI Afterburner instead. Besides being the best overclocking software around it also allows you to track fps in an onscreen display just like Fraps along with a number of other useful things like temperatures, gpu and memory usage, etc. which Fraps cannot do.

i can tell it has an accurate fps reading because the fps shown corresponds with the one shown on the in game reader
