HDD won't show up on installation.

So I just got done building my PC today and everything worked fine, and once I go to boot windows 7 the installation goes fine until the part where you have to select what you want to install the OS on.

My HDD wasn't showing up and now after the post boot screen all it gives me is this.

  1. Try loading the SATA driver when asked where to install Windows. Is SATA set to AHCI or IDE?

#1 : USB (was showing up, now it's not)
    #2 : HDD
  10. Do you have a different USB stick? If not, try formatting this one (I assume you have another PC or a laptop), make it bootable and put the Windows kit again on it.

  12. Have you connected the USB stick to a USB 3.0 or 2.0 port?

    Tried both.

    It's not my usb.

It's something to do with the drivers I think.
  14. My guess is that Windows writes the driver on the USB stick, therefore corrupting the files.

Did that and still can't find my HDD.

Wondering if it's a driver problem or if I should RMA my HDD?
