Old dell colour messed up

It's a Dell Dimension 3000 and my younger brother took opened it and cleaned it out. He removed the floppy drive, vacuumed it and then put the floppy back in. Now the colors are off, green is brown, ect. The resolution is also off and the date and time had been set back to 2004. My brother says he did touch the metal of the metal of the case before doing this.

Ideas?

I had the color thing happen to a friend of mine before, have you tried checking the pins of the VGA cable?

May also be the cause to the resolution change, but i am not sure.

As for the time and date if he removed the battery that would be the cause of them resetting back to 2004 as the OS takes the time date settings from the bios iirc

Seems all we needed to do was to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, didn't think that would be problem since he just took out the floppy and cleaned the PC.
