Why no overclock? E6750

Hey guys, Im having a bit of an issue, My processor is a Core 2 duo e6750. Recently I got a new motherboard so that i could use DDR3 ram. With the old mobo I could oc the chip to 3.5 from 2.66 although that wasnt very stable, It could do 3.2 easily and without any voltage changes etc. But now it will barely oc at all the highest i can get it to go is 2.74, Any higher and it wont even apply it, it will just shut down then boot up at 2.66. Temps are fine. 28-31 idle and around 50-60 at load.

Anyone got any idea to what could be the problem?

Gigabyte G41MT-S2PT, Reviews say its pretty good for oc'ing

Anyone got any idea. Could it be a problem with the cpu, it takes about four times longer to do a run on intel burn test than it used to

I have the same problem did you ever find a solution? I am using ddr3 1333 and nothing works but the stock 333 setting.
