SLI GTX570 vs Xfire HD6950 On AMD Chipset

Just wondering... What would have the better performance out of SLI GTX570 and Xfire 6950s on an AMD 990fx chipset? 990fx supports both, I know, and I have a AMD FX-8150 in it as well, so what of those two, would be the best option?

The 6950 is a different price bracket. the 6970 CF is what is priced at the 570GTX sli and the 6970 is faster and a while back toms proved that a 6950CF is faster or keeping up with the GTX570 SLI. And its cheaper and uses less power to.


Get the 6950CF and have fun.

Thanks so much for your help. Although in the past my ATi cards have had more problems than my nVidias, my most recent GTX460 is the third replacement for those cards. And I've heard good things about 6950s.

hopefully, you can unlock those 6950, but since its not 100% you can, i decided to go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125384
