1600 at 8-8-8-24 vs 1866 at 9-10-9-27

Hey guys. I'm deciding on ram kits for my board (RIVF with i7-3820). I can't decide between 2 kits. One is a Vengeance Black Low Profile 16GB 4x4Gb 1600 kit at 8-8-8-24, or the Vengeance Red 16GB 4x4GB 1866 kit at 9-10-9-27. I only use the computer for gaming and some video editing. The CPU will be overclocked to 4.3Ghz. I use the H100i so the Low Profile ram doesnt matter to me. Only reason im considering the 1866 kit is because it is the only kit in Red, which i would prefer since i want to go with the red theme on the ROG board. Both the kits are the same price, $100. What would you guys suggest to be a better/faster ram kit.

You get slight benefit from faster ram at identical timings. Since the 1866 is more loose, it's probably a wash. If you're into the look, may as well go red

I think i may end up going with the 1866 9-10-9-27 ram. After hours of reading, it seems to be at a slight advantage in some games. About 1-2 FPS, which is not much but its still better, same price and Red modules.
