Graphics Card for Max Settings on BF3 @ 1440x900

I'm getting BF3 monday night when it Midnight Releases and I'm looking to see how my computer will handle this, now that we know what the specifications are. I'm running:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 = 2.5Ghz per core
8GB DDR2 5300 Ram
nVidia GTX 460 w/ 1GB DDR5
1440x900 Resolution monitor.

What I'm wondering is, will I be able to run this on high/max settings with the 1440x900 montior? I'm not looking to upgrade it until it dies/breaks on me. Or should I look at getting something more like a GTX 560 or GTX 580 for the fps and better image quality? I'm also not looking into Raedon. I've used them in the past and much more prefer nVidia cards.

Not max settings, probably at least high at that resolution. I would tell you to get a 560 but they are just so overpriced.

Judging from the beta benchmarks on Techspot, you should be fine. Maybe not Ultra with AA, but you should be able to find a nice equilibrium somewhere at high/ultra quality.

The GTX460 is fine but your quad is a little slow, if you can overclock I would recommend it.

you will be fine, the beta needs a quad CPU & AMD 6850+ for 1050p resolution. 900p resolution will be fine with the GTX460
