I am after a motherboard to use at home with some cheap 8 GB PC3 8500R memory modules that I got from eBay.

So it needs to be:
- cheap
- capable of supporting four or more of those memory modules if possible.
- supporting an Intel CPU (recommendations on a cheap one too?)
- support cheap disk, with raid perhaps. This isn't critical.

Any suggestions?

I am leaning towards an ASUS P8Q77-M or Asrock Z77 Extreme 4.

Any suggestions either way?

I am also considering an Intel i5-3470.

Is that a good value processor for this board? Any alternatives I should look at?

So no suggestions on either the ASUS P8Q77-M or Asrock Z77 Extreme 4, and no comments on alternatives to the Intel i5-3470?
