  1. If it is for gaming, get an OCZ 650W PSU that is 80 Bronze Certified.
  2. its mainly gaming
  3. Alright, I updated my above message.
  4. You'll definitely need a hefty power supply to run two 590's. Get a 1200w to be safe
Corsair is always makes reliable PSUs

Seeing as your buying dual 590s I assume this power supply won't put this build out of your price range lol.
  5. If u want to save some money you could do this:

    CPU: i5 2500k

    Mobo: AS Rock extreme3 z68

    Ram: 8gb @ 1600

there would be almost no change in performance between this and ur current setup.

For a HDD 1TB would work, but prices on HDDs are really high right now, so you could hold off and wait til prices come down

a 650w PSU will not have enough power for even ONE 590. A PSU almost double that size is needed.
  7. do u guys think the processor im choosing is a good choice for this setup?
and also do u think having 2 590 is way overrated for FPS and RPG's(skyrim)
  8. I would start with one 590 then upgrade later if you so desire. I think one 590 is too much to be honest. But if you want the best...
  9. I have one gtx560ti and it runs skyrim fine on ultra for me :L, your build looks like it could run any game on the market maxed tbh..
  10. one 590 is enough. 2 of these is definitely overkill IMO, but it's your money, your rig.
