I want to know if I can run 2 6950s well.

I have i5 2500K OC @ 4.2Ghz 1.3611v <--- Is that decent for first time OC?

I have this power supply.

I read something about dual 16x being the best..
I'm pretty sure my motherboard will but wasn't sure.
Can I get a reassurance =)

Here is the mobo

Thanks a lot very much appreciated.

I'm only 16, I worked for this myself and am using this to learn.

They are PCIE 2.0 X16 but when a second GPU is populated it the second PCIE routs at x8.
Technically there's no difference between running GPUs in x16/x16 VS x8/x8.. there's a slight increase in performance that isn't noticeable, you'll notice it only if you run a benchmark program like 3D mark.
The X4 would be the real bottleneck, so you're good to go with everything you listed above, but if you'll be overclocking, hooking up more PCI cards, fans & putting more HDDs get a high wattage PSU 700-750W

yes it should work.

i do find most of the 1155 boards will run 1 card x16, then 2 cards at x16, x8

not thats a huge prob.

todays graphics cards are just now getting to max the x8 bandwith.

you will see a very nice performance increase.

So does that mean I'm not getting dual 16x?

Or were you just speaking generally about most of the boards?

as gnomio stated, "PCI Express 2.0 x16 -->2"

I know it "2" but I didn't know if dual was something different other than just have 2 cards plugged into 2 separate 16's

It just seems most computer related terms aren't as they seem =)
Sorry I'm just very curious.
