Help wiring TFT LCD to netbook motherboard Tags: Motherboards Netbooks jayjello January 29, 2013 2:21:13 PM need a little help. Trying to use a smaller monitor on a netbook mod im doing, (building a gaming tablet from a HP Mini 311. Ive found a screen and controller board http://www.ebay.com/itm/HDMI-VGA-2AV-Driver-board-8inch... They recommend 12v and 2A, but apparently it will work with 5~24v and anything over 1.5A is apparently good enough. I'm very new to this stuff, so please excuse my ignorance, but is it possible to find a suitable power supply from the laptop anywhere? My second possibly stupid question, is about how i connect the battery. Can i move the battery from its usual docking place, and run wires to it from the four prongs to the battery's new position? Thankyou for any help and guidance anyone can give, and sorry for my lack of clue as to what to do here! Jonny More about : wiring tft lcd netbook motherboard Can't find your answer ? Ask !
