PCI Express X16 Slot. Help

Hello, Im building a PC for the first time and have brought the MSI 870-C45 Motherboard. When I got my graphics card (XFX Radeon HD 6770), and went to install it into the pci express x16 slot, i noticed on the slot there was some sort of bendy lever thing and im not sure if i should do something with it or not? Please help!

it will lock your video card in place once you insert it,
you lift it with finger when removing video card

Yep. No problemo. You'll be able to tell that the card is properly seated when the lever clicks in.
