System restore compac presario laptop

Hello,
my compaq presario laptop was in the middle of an update and the battery died completely. now it will turn on but the monitor wont come on. HELP!!!!!!

You may need to do a system restore using your restore disks, and never ever again do an update without a full charge and being plugged in just to be on the safe side. Same goes with bios updates, only doubly true!

There is also a small chance that your battery went tits up, and needs to be replaced if it won't recharge fully. Hopefully not, but possible.
