Looking for a good gaming case under <$150AUD
I prefer rugged looks and like usb3.0 at the front
Good airflow and cable management helps too

I've looked at thermaltake overseer, coolermaster haf 912 advanced and cm storm trooper, but i am open to suggestions. I need an australian site for purchasing.

It has everything you are looking for. However I would take a look at some of the corsair cases ie 400, 500, 600 series cases. All are very good build quality and have great features.

The 500 and 600 series are both over my budget (150). What advantages would the 400r have over the thermaltake HAF 912 advanced?

Also over budget

Would this have better airflow and cable management than the haf 912 advanced?

Its a full tower so even just on that score yes,
plenty of room for bigger graphics cards, thats two tripleslot 6950's there (they look tiny hehe)
I replaced the side mesh with an acrylic window on mine
and cable management is what you make it but heres mine,
its a bit modded so don't mind the panel on the side door, thats on the top normally,

I hate cables on view to the point of Ocd, and I give this case a 9/10 for Cable management possibilities,
Build log here if you want to check it out,

What does a rotated mobo effect?

Your backplate/ I/O shield is at the top of the case rather than the rear, covered by a top moulding to conceal them,
one plus point from my view is that the graphics cards are vertical, so heavy cards don't strain the Mobo as much as if they were horizontally mounted,
and I believe the Psu is placed at the front, instead of the 'normal' positioning
some nice builds have been done with them and I wouldn't mind modding one someday :p

mate for the websites try either
pccasegear.com.au

or

mwave.com.au

now my friend has the overseer and i like the style of the haf 912 advanced. but if you want a GREAT case for 150-165AUD look for the thermaltake chaser mk-i. I am going to build a computer very soon and love it. the style, the cooling not as good as HAF since HAF is designed for cooling but is still extremly good. go with the chaser.
