Hello, I am trying to build my own gaming PC. I want to build the best PC that I possibly can. I am planning to get a bundle that comes with Intel Unlocked Core i5- 2500k Processor, 8gb of memory, and a asus atx motherboard. I already bought the video card which is a radeon hd 5670 and i am willing to purchase an extra 8gb of memory. In the end the specs would look like this

Intel Unlocked Core i5- 2500k Processor
16gb Memory
Radeon HD 5670
ASUS ATX MOTHERBOARD

IS THIS A GOOD PC? I NEED HELP PLEASE & THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Hi there! Welcome to the forums.

Nope, not a good PC. You have a big time GPU bottleneck there. I wouldn't spend the money for a 2500k unless you plan on getting at least a 6950. Also 16GB of ram is not needed. 8GB is totally fine! You really only need 4GB.

Tell you what. Fill out this form here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261222-31-build-advice And I'll be able to give you much more in depth advice.

Hpope that helps ;)

Nope, not gonna use that one.
Here's what I say. Built a machine loosely based off the Tom's $500 PC here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/phenom-ii-overclock-graphics-card,3032.html
But upgrade the case and mobo. HDD's are so expensive right now it'll work out to be pretty much the same.
CPU: Phenom II x4 960t http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103995&Tpk=phenom%20960t $125
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600MHz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104173 $35
Case: HAF 912 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233&Tpk=haf%20912 $50
PSU: Enermax 750w modular http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817194086 $99 (not necessary but will let you add a second card later)
Mobo: ASRock 870 AM3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157272 $80
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161388 $229
DVD drive: Sony Optiarc http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118040 $19
That brings the total cost of the build to what, $650 or so? Not bad! This will KILL at 1080p.

Cheers mate.

Okay, I forgot to tell you I have a 1tb hard drive so that takes of some of the money. Thanks a lot dude, I am going to order these parts but one more question is that processor really good?

Nope, you won't be needing a CPU cooler unless you want to dabble in overclocking. Do you?

You can go with the CX 500 if you want. Just keep in mind you can't pop in a second card later. It's totally fine though!

P.S. Return that 5670.
