If not standard, then trial and error will work. Finding the power switch and the reset switch is easy. Then you need to figure out which pins are for the power and disk LEDs. There are no risks, but LEDs have to be connected properly to work; you have to reverse the connector for each pair if the LED isn't lit.

There's a good chance that the layout is this one: http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www.intel.com... where pin 10 is not connected.
