hello pals,

Which card is best HIS 6770 or XFX 6770 or GIGABYTE 6770 or sapphire 6770 flex???

My pc spec:
Core 2 duo E7500@2.93 GHz
Asus p5g41c-M LX
2gb ddr2 ram

planned to buy (Cooler Master xtreme power supply 500w-INR3200 and iball Velocity cabinet-INR3300) by this month end

I'm confused in getting GPU there are several brands providing 6770,so which should i go for,,please suggest me friends,,,
I'm from India so i cant buy thru online,I seen most of the guys will suggest to get from online,,For shipping & handling 2 india they ll charge around 300$....lol...My budget for GPU is with in INR8000

Solution
a 6770 is actually a 5770 under the 6770's cooler shroud. the only difference on the 6770 is that its a 5770 with an OC upto 880MHz. nothing else.

the flex series can handle multiple monitors - e.g a 5 monitor eyefinity setup

the iceq looks cool and performs a lil better but the heat of that card is thrown into the case ... so that isn't cooling the rest of the parts.

dunno about the gigabyte

overall - get the iceq mate!

In your case, I would go with Gigabyte. They are a trusted company with the experience I had with them. I am not to sure about Sapphire and HIS, though I've owned their cards. Never had an issue with them. If you live outside the US XFX is definitely NOT a good choice as their service and support outside the US sucks.

I have bought numerous HIS cards over the years, and they all worked well, with excellent coolers. I own one XFX that is also still kicking, and I've installed some Sapphires for others that have never failed. I've not bought a Gigabyte GPU, but they are not one of my favorite mobo manufacturers.
A quality modern PSU has full range active PFC (no little voltage switch) and some level of 80+ certification for efficiency. Seasonic, Antec, Corsair, XFX, and Enermax/LEPA are among the better brands. A 380W Earthwatts or 400W Builder would have no trouble with a HD6770.

PCI-E 2.1 cards are backwards compatible to run 2.0 cards and the 1.0 cards as well. its actually the same - no big difference from 2.0 to 2.1.

i saw your mobo in the first post. relax - pick it up already and select "best-answer" so we can close this thread :)

Get HIS 6770 or Sapphire6770 Flex.As I know that Sapphire has a good cooling system in thier GPU's and Sapphire has been a best partner of AMD for a long time.so I recommend Sapphire 6770 Flex.
