Help with a200 recovery

Hello,
my kids changed the password on my toshiba a200 that i bought about 3 yrs ago. I went to the store to ask their assistanc and they told me to contact toshiba or a computer repair store who then quoted me more than it will to buy a new one with larger hd. Im just not in a financial position at the moment to do this.Can you help me in any way or point me in the right direction please.
