Games Stutter at certain points but are smooth everywhere else, help?

I recently purchased a refurbished computer and upgraded some of the parts myself, while running Batman Arkham Asylum i benchmarked the system at the lowest possible settings and it ran on average over 270 fps but at some points it would drop down to stuttering 4-10 fps and i have no idea why, Specs are

AMD Phenom II X6 1035t 2.6ghz

A GeForce GTX 560 1 gb GDDR5 (Asus)

8 GB of Ram

Any way someone could help? Thanks

What points ? I have it sometimes a bit when there is some tekst being spoken or when i lower my point of view in a batlle or something.

In the bench mark it just runs through a level in like spectate with no Enemies or NPCs or anything and randomly throughout the level it will start to slowdown as if under extreme stress but nothing is changed except a little bit of a viewing angle

Well, my fps in Company of Heroes drops pretty rapidly if i change the viewing angle from the view of someone looking from above or looking at the point from where a dog or small child would see it. Still don't know why meself, never had a decent answer to that.
Very interested to see if you get answers, still really would like to know.

have you got physx set to high or low?
