Hello,
I have an ASROCK Z68 Pro3 with two hard drives currently running in RAID 0. Previous to this I was running 1 drive in IDE mode. I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions from http://www.overclock.net/t/1227636/how-to-change-sata-modes-after-windows-7-installation/10
To change from IDE to RAID succesfully. However on a whim (mainly because I wanted to double check) I noticed that my HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\msahci\Start is still set to 3. Whereas the instructions for going to RAID include having that set to 0.
So am I running RAID without the AHCI abilities? Would it be safe to change that to 0 and reboot? It is necessary?
My HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\iaStorV\Start
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\iaStor\Start settings are both 0.

Thanks!
