PC monitor won't display unless RAM is re-seated.

hey guys i've run into yet another problem with my new pc. The PC works fine when its turned on, but when booting up sometimes, the monitor fails to display. To fix this issue i reseat the ram every time it happens. Also sometimes the computer will start up for a few seconds, turn off, then turn on again.

Could this be a ram problem because last time i checked the ram i have is compatible with my motherboard. I even installed a recent BIOS just to be sure.

Any Help/feedback would be much appreciated

Change the bios battery and make sure that the ram settings re correctly set. Or just enable XMP it will automatically set the ram settings
