It is better you buy two ram cards of 4gB each, this way they will be faster as they will work in dual channel.

The power if the smps generally depends upon the graphics card as it can use up most of the power.

your not going to see much speed change from one dimm or two. i would save your money and not buy the second dimm. most new mb will run fine on one dimm. i would use that money to buy a newer gpu if your going to game with the system. the 9400 may fit if it a pci video card. the downside is the card is so old the onboard gpu is better then then the old video card. if your going to do some light gaming look at the 7750/550ti/650 video cards.

It's perfectly compatible and it's a dual channel kit.
If the card is a pcie card, it will work just fine, though, if it's for gaming, you need a better card, like a 650/650 ti or 660 gtx.

If you install one 8GB card your system will work on single channel and only one card will be used at once. But if you buy two cards they will work is dual channel and both the cards will work at once and so it will complete a work in less duration of time.

Why do you want to buy one card of 8gB is it because you want to fill the remaining 3 slots with 8gB card later?
If you are planning to do this, you may end up in a reboot loop caused by improper ram.
Ram cards should always be bought at once and not at different times.
Also will you be ever using 32gB?

I face a lot of problems when I buy from flipkart. Since I live in jharkhand I don't get any benefit that flipkart provides. Also the the people here are real jerks when it comes to replacing products bought from flipkart. So if I have a problem with any product I send it to a shop in Bangalore for repairs or replacements.

I bought six 4gB cards from flipkart and before buying I sent them an email asking them to verify if the cards I get in that lot will have the same specs. Only after I got a positive response, I got those cards.

Also flipkart may have some improper info posted on the product page so please clarify everything before you buy the card's. If you don't clarify they won't entertain you later. It happended with me so I am telling you.

This is false. The manufacturing tolerances of ram are close enough that this should never happen with good quality ram and any motherboard worth its weight.

I said may. There is always a possibility of errors and bsods so why just avoid them when you can.
