COSMOS II Full Side Window Mod w/ Pics

Lack of a side window was actually why I went with the Storm Trooper over the Cosmos II... if the Cosmos II had a side window (and 120mm side fan intakes - I need those for my future 7970 CF setup), I would have gotten that in a heartbeat; it's one of the sleekest cases I've seen in a long time. Figured if I'm gonna miss out on a side window I might as well save a couple hundred bucks.

nice looking mod, i like that the entire side anel is plexi, usually they advertize windows and u cant even see ur parts through them because of size and shape. but i think you should get a full atx mobo, (or is that one and it just looks smaller?) it would just be more fitting. lots of spare space in there. still looks great though.

It is a full atx. The Cosmos II is just so huge it makes it look small. It can fit Atx, Micro Atx, Extended Atx, Xl Atx and even an SR2

Anybody have any suggestions?

you could probably do whatever you want. maybe do somethign with fans, cut a hole for a 120mm fan in the side panel and get a green led to put in it, adds a little cooling and more interest at the same time. maybe more plexy in other places like the back or top panel, watercooling for other parts like ram and gpu (if you havent already) maybe paint some of the outer plastic trim (not all of it, just accent parts) green as well to match the fans and lights, you could do just about whatever you wanted with that thing man.

don't compromise and 'miss out' on a case because it doesn't have a window, look at how you can fit a window :)
Troopers a nice case anyhow, :)

+1, I couldn't decide so I own both cases the Storm Trooper and the Cosmos 2

I'm in the Special Occasion business like weddings, Party's, graduations and
any other keepsake you may have and want on video.

I agree with you on the Cosmos looking sleek and the Storm Trooper being a nice case.
That's why I own both of them.
