A question about GFX card and slot compatbility..

I have a question about GFX card and slot compatbility..

Will the Zotac GeForce 210 (ZT-20309-10L) gfx card work properly in a PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode) slot?

What about a 1x slot?

I'm not exactly up to date with hardware stuff :/

It will work in both slots if you can fit it in them at reduced performance, especially in the X1 slot.

Would a 4x slot be enough to take advantage of the card's VDPAU acceleration and play HD files as if it were a x16 slot [on other words with no noticeable performance problems]?
