Hi everyone, this is my first post here so please be gentle ;)

I have been away from some while assembling custom Gaming Rigs (I went with an Alienware Laptop m15x R1 and R2 instead).

I'm selling my custom Laptop for a real gaming rig, this is what I have come up with so far but wanted the experts to comment about the equipment and tell me if I'm missing something or I'm good to go.

Thank in advance.

Case HAF-X CoolerMaster
Power Supply CORSAIR HX1050 1,050W
Mother Board Intel BOXDX79SI LGA 2011
CPU Intel X79 i7-3930k 3.8Ghz
Cooling CPU Intel BXRTS2011LC
Memory CORSAIR VENGANCE 32GB
GPU EVGA GTX 590
HDD WD VelociRaptor SATA 6GB/sec
DVD Asus DVD-RW
Blue-RAY LG 12x BD-ROM
Keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder X4
Mouse Logitecg G9x

For montior I'm planning on using my 47" LG Infina LCD HD TV (Comments on this too please, yes / no).

Regards

Juan

Thank you very much, SSD added, yup the computer is well over 3k right now.

The CPU is liquid cooled but I guess you can cool other devices as GPU for example?

Thanks again.

I think you can safely avoid my liquid cooling suggestion. I think there's ways to water cool the whole case, but it might be a separate case purchase.

Have fun with that beast!

Last question, where would be the best place to buy all of the above?

I have been looking at newegg dot com but they are missing a couple of parts (processor and video card), I think it would be best to get everything from one source only.

Thanks,

It might be really hard to get everything at one place. I'd still go with Newegg for as much as you can.

And questions keep flying in...

The PSU I selected above will handle 1 GTX 590 with ease, but if I go with two I think it won't cut it, so changing from 1050watts to 1350 watts to be on a more "Comfort Zone"

On to the question, is this a good PSU?
