My system:
Dell XPS 430
ATI 4830 512MB
Manuals: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/xps430/en/index.htm?~file=/systems/xps430/en/index.htm

From what I can tell, my power supply is 425W but looking at the specs for the ATI 4830, it says it needs a minimum of 450W (http://www.amd.com/uk/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-4000/hd-4830/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-4830-system-requirements.aspx). I'm not sure if I have got the wrong number or if 425W is actually sufficient.

Currently I have 2 DVI outputs but want to upgrade in order to support a minimum of 3 monitors but preferably 4. I would rather upgrade my card rather than install a 2nd one as I don't really want to have to upgrade my power supply unless absolutely necessary. I also have no idea if my motherboard is crossfire compatible.

I do game but the 4830 is sufficient for my needs so I just want something that is equally or more powerful.

What would be a good graphics card which can support at least 3 displays within the constraints of my rather paltry power supply and without sacrificing any gaming power over my current card?

I'll also mostly be using the card with linux, in case that matters.

Edit: In case it helps, I was looking at the 5830 for a comparison but it looks like I don't have sufficient power to support it.
