Has anyone ever heard of this? For the longest time, I've had weird
problems with voice mail access and getting SMS notifications for new
messages. Sometimes, people will leave messages for me and they won't
show up in my voice mail until 3 - 7 days later. After messing around
with this problem for as long as I've had my account and phone, a T-
Moble tech I reached last night claims he knows what my problem was.

Says it's an obscure bug -- that my SIM card is incompatible with my
Sony Ericsson T68i. He said that with T-Mobile, cards that have an
odd start number followed by 4 or more zeros do not work right with
my phone (and other SE models and some Samsungs). He authorized a new
SIM card for me on my account and said to go get it at a local T-
Mobile dealer.

Has anyone EVER heard of such a thing??

Wow ... this is interesting. I too have a t68i and the same thing happens and I've been just living with it. My SIM starts odd as you mention: 2605 0000 ....

Be sure to post your results.

I got the new SIM just last Friday and I'll see how it fares. The new
one starts with an even number and only has 3 zeros in a row. We
shall see. :-)

I installed the new SIM (starts with 2004 0001) and so far so good. With
the first several vmail messages I got, the notifications worked fine. Also
haven't seen my old messages reappear mysteriously.
