GA-Z77X-D3H

February 2, 2013 12:00:56 PM

Hello, im new on this forum and not sure im in the right sub-forum, but here it goes:

I got a GA-Z77X-D3H with an i3570k cpu (still running stock speeds). A GTX650 gpu, and 2x4gb 1600mhz 1.5v ram.

Now 99% of the times when I boot, I get this long off-key beep, and then just boots normaly. However sometimes it does give a propper POST (one short beep).

Ive tried everything I know:

-Removing ram and putting one dimm in all 4 slots, and repeat with other dimm too. Didn't work.
-Removing GPU, didnt work, only gave the usual 1 long 2 short beeps.
-Tried some googeling, and some people said it was the CPU fan fail warning. Turned that off too, didnt work.
-Tried the other slot for my PSU 6pin connector, also tried another 6pin cable on both connectors. didnt work either.

Also quickly read through the sticky on this site, didnt find any answers there too.

The system runs fine, I just hate hearing that beep and I would really like to fix it.

Any ideas?

anything is apreciated.
