Hey all. I have posted a couple of times here to get advice on my first build. I had already settled on everything and have been ordering the components whenever I saw good deals (I have the case, psu, motherboard and ram already). The last part I was going to order was the AMD A8-3850, but today I read that AMD is releasing its 2nd Gen APU parts, including an unlocked version. It would be silly of me to not wait, but I honestly don't want to be waiting another month to get this build together.
So, does anyone have any kind of time frame as to when these parts might be released. The Tom's article didn't really specify except to say "within the next few weeks". That could be January 17th for all I know, and I don't know if I can hold out that long.
By the way, here are the parts I settled on:
AMD A8-3850
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo
ASRock A75 Pro4 FM1 w/ SATA6 and USB 3.0 http://goo.gl/Ovvtp
RaidMax Smilodon ATX Case w/500w PSU http://goo.gl/zzt36 (I took a chance on this one. The case itself is fantastic, but the PSU has yet to be tested)
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 RAM http://goo.gl/F8hqI
