Hey guys.
I want to ask if updating the motherboard's BIOS will make some hardware, which are incompatible with the mobo, compatible with it? Such as for example, you have a PCI-E 2.0 slot on your mobo and your new VCard is PCI-E 2.1, will it matter updating the BIOS? will it make it compatible?
Since this is the problem I had encountered with my new graphics card. I needed it badly but when I tried to install it, no display was coming out from the monitor.
My hardware specs:
Emaxx MCP61S nForce 450i Motherboard AM2
2GB DDR2-800 memory
AMD Athlon LE-1620 2.4Ghz
Western Digital Caviar 80GB SATAII
500W PSU
thanks in advance.
