Hello To all,
I just purchased a IBM P260 21" and the only problem I have with it is that I cannot find any inf's for win xp pro.Any ideas? It is listed as a PnP monitor with a max refresh rate of 85.Does this have to be changed manually? I'm kind of new to this refresh rate thingy. Thanks in advance.

If windows has detected it as a Plug and Play monitor, the monitor's capabilities are communicated from a chip in the monitor to windows each time you boot the system up. The refresh rates listed will be those within the monitor's range...

Trying to run a monitor outside it's range will usually just shut the monitor off... but in some notably bad monitors, without protection circuits, it has been known to fry the circuitry.

For safety, stay within the reported list you have in your windows property sheets.
