Trackpad not working

So I was trying to find a hotkey to use to change volume without the 6pt steps that the fn+f11 and fn+f12 use (my phones super sensitive) and I tried hitting some other shortcuts (dont remember exact ones; random combinations of ctrl, win, alt, and some f-keys and numbers... stupid, I know). Didn't work, and now my trackpad won't move the mouse or click. It does work before I log in, though, and moving my finger across it wakes up from sleep. Any ideas?

Also does anyone know of any shortcuts that will do a 1pt step volume change?

Fixed it. Mouse settings (control panel), right most tab "elan", and enable.
Somehow, somewhere, there's a hotkey to disable the mouse pad. morons.
