Hi,

I have a single GTX 560 Ti at the moment, I want to know is it worth to get another one and SLI it ? Or should I wait for the next 600series ?

Also my CPU is intel core i5 2500k oc @ 4.5Ghz. I read somewhere my cpu can't perform well with 2 SLI cards on the board. Is it true or not ?

and My PSU is 750W. Is it enough for SLI setup ?

Thanks in advance

hahhaha its just fake 2500k can handle 2x gtx 590 or 2x 6990 that they heaviest gpu's currently.
you will be fine do not worry.

Depending on the resolution you play at the card should be able to max most games on the market. I would say wait for the newer 600 series to be released, then you either get a new 600 series card or buy your second 560Ti as the prices of the 500 series would have dropped by then.

I play at 1920x1080. And my Mobo is Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3

I thought I could Max everything with just one 560 Ti. But It can't really do good at maximum details. Everytime I have to disable or reduce a few options in order to get the best quality/performance.

In Crysis 2 I get average ~45fps. In Metro 2033 ( which is an exceptional over demanding game ) I get ~20fps. In Battlefield 3 Beta, I couldn't get High or above with playable FPS, it lagged so much. was playing Medium all the time.
Anti Aliasing which is a very good image quality improvement, I have to put off to get playable fps otherwise it would lag.

I am not really satisfied with the card. After a long long time I bought a new system and still I have to disable and change a few settings to get the games playable.

Now you know why I SLi'd them from the get go!

Is your mobo SLI capable? Also make sure that one lane operates at least x8. Also don't compare Metro 2033 to jump into conclusions, it is a lousy game just designed for benchmarks.

Yes Ofcourse It is SLI capable!

But I am not getting my answer... Is the performance gain noticeable or not ? I don't want to spend for another card just to get a few 10 or 15 fps gain.

I want really to max everything and get 60 FPS. with at least 4x AA and Physx On.
