Does anyone know why i get an error message 0x800b0001
when I try and use window update

Three possible solutions:-

Click Start., choose Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 softpub.dll

Click OK.

or

Click Start, choose Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 Mssip32.dll

Click OK.

or

Click Start, choose Run.
In the Run box, type: regsvr32 Initpki.dll

Click OK.

Otherwise post to the WU NG stating what you've tried and your os etc
