First build geared towards SWTOR

Hello,

This is my first build and I’m trying to get going in the right direction. I am looking to build a gaming computer, something geared toward SWTOR. Any help would be awesome.

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: 600-800 before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (SWTOR), Music, Surfing the internet

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, microcenter.com, amazon.com

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: no preference, but was thinking about maybe using Intel Core i5-2500K Processor, but not absolutely necessary

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: 1280 x 1024

Additional Comments: I also have some other components that I will list from an older computer. Not sure if they are useless now or not.

CPU – AMD Duron, MMX, 3dNow, ~800MHz

Here you go buddy. Tom's hardware just posted an article on a pretty decent $600 Rig. Lists everything you would need to get it up and running.

...and with the extra off the $600, get a better monitor. Don't forget that the point of buying hardware for a gaming build is to have a good gaming experience, not to have high-end parts in the box.
