6870's ? 6950's ? What do you guys think is the best card for xfire with the new low prices like 6870's going for 150 and 6950's for 210 and etc.

I will make an exception for extreme 30" resolution of 2560x1600. Most people have single monitors at 1080p or less. A single GTX560ti or HD6950 1GB handle those apart from 1 or 2 games just fine, those GPU's can be had for $200 after MIR.
I personally = My Personal Opinion!

Not in favor of the HD6870 but just one article!
That article does not favor a 1GB 6950 over a 6870 or vice versa, it does however provide a good insight into the issue of micro-stuttering.

How do you guys feel about gaming with three 24" monitors? It would save moneyz ^^
I don't understand sorry, it will save moneyz?

most cards that have 2gb onboard wont get used fully until you start working with resolutions above 1080P

Crossfire performance of 2x 1gb 6950's vs 2x 2gb 6950's will be almost identicle UNTIL you start going above 1080P (either using eyefinity or a large hi-rez LCD panel)

So if your going to stick to 1080P gaming then i'd reccomend 1gb cards.

ONLY YOUR WALLET CAN TELL YOU IF ITS WORTH THE EXTRA TO GO FROM 6870s' to 6950's
