Monitor is blank but cpu fans nd other fans spinning...

Hello,

two days ago i was trying win8 consumer preview nd then switched off my computer(rather it was an abrupt shut down) nd after tht day i tried everything to make my computer work properly.. bt no help... i also tried the monitor on differnet computer nd it works fine.. any ideas?

Video card problem? Have another one you can try?

i know video card is not bad as i have tried removing it and using on board video memory... monitor is not faulty as i have tried it on other laptop..
any more suggestions or ideas..???
