Gtx 275 to 6870 or 560?

Gtx 275 to 6870 or 560? i know this has been asked billions of times but pls forgive my ignorance, i tried to look around but all i see is performance reviews. What i would like to know is how it actually feels when used, how are your experience with the card and how did it perform based on your preference. The 560 they said would be an side grade from the 275, as for the 6870 im not that sure. I was thinking of the 560 non-ti of gigabyte which is an OC edition, would that still be a side grade from the 275? i cant really afford the 560 ti or the 6950....so im really stuck here on what to get.

eh it depends how important DX11 is to you if what you says is true GTX 275 is about same as a GTX 560 then is it really worth ur upgrade? tbh you want to scope some cash and get something lil more beefer but i can say GTX 560 is a nice card and plays games at nice FPS games like Bf3 coz of phyx

well maybe look to get GTX 550 TI SLI setup?

other wise get a GTX 560

a GTX 550 TI SLI setup is about $240

and performance is about a GTX 570 roughly

but tbh its upto u

dont get ATI if u gearing for Bf3 will ruin experience Frostbite 2 engine uses PhyX from Nvidia and tbh makes big differences

i was in beta for BF3 i have a GTX 580 SC and my friend had HD 6970 and i can tell you he wished he had a Nividia card when came to buildings and PhyX stuff

all this time i though those effects were from the dx11 not the phyX. Well if im going for the 560, i rather get the OC edition. So, will it be a worth it upgrade from my old card? i saw this review and it said gtx 275 can max out BF3 in dx10

Tessellation makes big visual difference over DX 10 so even if you had it maxed the fact its tesselated will make it look better then maxed bf3 on dx 9 or 10 would look as good as low/med Mixture in DX11 from my personal experience but even then DX11 low setting in lot games still looks visually better then DX9 or 10 Games maxed

thanks man this really helps, ill take your word about the phyx thing and go for nvidia. The 560 OC'ed prolly, or the 560 ti if i can shelf out more cash.

well side by side with my mates ATI card and we have same monitor

my game play were visually better and he was set to ultra also

wen came to particles and anything to do with broken buildings and stuff he was getting a major FPS drop wile i was only getting small drops

and i was only getting low drops this could be due to fact game was better optimized for Nvida cards and fact they may not use PhyX but only thing i could think of

but i can tell u now they build game running on Nvidia Cards from hardware they use test bench for the game

also on a side note..... keep your 275 in your sys an use it as a ded physx card, shoule help your performance when lots of stuff is happening in game

this is why i a cheaper way getting 570 performance is 550 Ti SLI setup its about same price as a GTX 560 TI

or get a GTX 460 SLI? maybe? save lil big money? that would be a nice rig

or get a 560 and save for a 2nd 560 and you be really good wen comes to GPU Power

wuh about phyx then? i just read somewhere that they are using havoc like in bf2 meaning its the CPU thats making all the particles fly and all..correct me if im wrong im such a noob.

i got a courgar 700w which makes that 550 ti SLI thingy work its just that my board is lame as hell
