You need 4gb of RAM, plus the PSU comments above.

PSU needs to be addressed. Not sure where your buying your PSU at, but here is what I'd recommend:
CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 V2 (CMPSU-430CXV2) 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
or
Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green 380W Continuous power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Both are about $35 after $10 MIR plus shipping of about $2-3.

This is where the PSU came from - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
I think this will do for now until I upgrade.... what do you think?

Nope. You just can't use it. It might work, but it might actually explode.

Thanks for all the deals! Im building a PC,

Im going with AMD Phenom II X4 960T, my plan is to unlock the cores to X6 - $110, trying to buy one on ebay for $90 shipped, if I dont win Im buying one from newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P, just bought on ebay for $35 shipped! -
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Thanks for recommending the PSU and Graphics card! Those are great deals!

Any recommendations for Case? I want to get the cheapest one possible! But I want to have room so that I can put in a good CPU cooler.

Right now Im up to (including video card and PSU)
110 + 35 + 40 + 60 = 245 - 15 (gift card) - 10 MIR = 220

Just need case and memory now. Will DDR2 work with my motherboard until I can upgrade?

How much are you willing to spend on a case? The HAF 912 is a good cheap case with good airflow, enough room to hide cables, and good cable management, plus ~$50.

Honestly the cheapest I can find... definitely less than $50 I was thinking more of 20 - 30 before I knew how expensive cases actually are. Im a college student trying to get the most bang for the buck.

The newegg description is what convinced me to get it.
6 fans, 7 hdd slots, toolless, ability to use watercooler!
Its excellent, it fits my plan for future upgrades and its within my budget.

How do yall look up these deals on newegg? Do you just search for something and it pops up or is there page with all the deals on it?

All I need now is memory. I want to get 2 4gb sticks but only if theres a deal I can get one 2gb stick off ebay for cheap just to start off.

I have this case. It is really nice except for being ugly (my opinion, of course). One of the best cheap cases you can get if you like (or can get past) the aesthetics.

Really glad to hear so much positive comments about that case on here.
I don't find it the best looking, but function over looks for me.

One question, does it come with the stand offs for the motherboard, or would the mother board come with them?

Thanks!

Back on topic.
DDR2 is actually more expensive than DDR 3 right now.
You can get 1 4GB stick of DDR3 for $20 (and lower) on Newegg, or $34.99 for 2 x 4GB sticks of DDR3.

Any particular reason you went with an IDE drive?

Can the OP please recap what has been bought and what you still need? I'm a bit confused at this point. I see several things listed, but would like to know where the build is at
