Monitor is blank but cpu fans nd other fans spinning...

hello

two days ago i was trying win8 consumer preview nd then switched off my computer(rather it was an abrupt shut down) nd after tht day i tried everything to make my computer work properly.. bt no help... i also tried the monitor on differnet computer nd it works fine.. any ideas?

Well..... its either a problem with Win 8 or your hardware. If its blank under the old OS, it could be burned out cpu/gru, or some problem with cables, but I dont see how running a different OS could kill your hardware.

Last night I turned on a computer that had been shut down for several days. Everything seemed normal but no video. I started unplugging things one at a time to see if I could find the culprit. When I unplugged one of the RAM sticks the computer booted normally. I've never seen RAM fail this way before. BTW, your style of abbreviating words is very annoying.

Does your computer beep at all when you turn it on? If so, how many beeps? One beep is good, any other number of beeps (including no beeps) is bad and indicates a hardware problem.

It always bugs me when people unnecessarily shorten words. Learn to type man! Get up past 60 words a minute and you won't need to cut out letters to communicate quickly.

i have tried hdd on my frnds comp. nd is working fine... i hav tried everthinh..
changing rams
gpu
monitors..


any ideas?
