X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional - Hissing sound from speakers

Hi, I have noticed recently there is a rather irritating hissing sound coming from my speakers. This is most notable afer I stop playing music or video. Is there a fix for this issue?

System:
Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
Creative Inspire T7900 Speakers
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series Sound Card

I don't know what to tell you. My X-Fi crackles like Rice Krispies and squeals like a stuck pig.

Maybe turning your PC volume way up and turning your speakers down will help?

Well, windows tends to keep the audio output open for a little while after an audio signal has been sent through, so this is normal to some extent. As long as it goes away after a second or two, theres nothing to worry about.
