I can't load Sp2 because I only have a 6 GB partition set
for windows (my c:\) I have c:\ on a 40gb Hd, I also have
a 160 GB HD in my machine as well. I went into cpu
management and can't extend the volume. What are my
options to get sp2 on my machine?

Unless you want to format and reinstall XP before applying the SP2 update,
your only option is to get third party partitioning software that can
perform a non-destructive expansion of the system partition.
