Cannot see multiple monitors after hdmi hookup

I have an HP-510S Desktop to which i have hooked up a HDTV via HDMI cable. I can see the two monitors in the Catalyst Control Center but can only see PC content in the primary monitor. In order to see any content in the HDTV monitor i have to unplug the primary monitor. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello... have you set "Clone" mode or in "Extended" mode, for the HDTV, in the Control center?... also look at Windows display setting too.

"Clone" mode will give you the same display, as the primary, from left to right of your screen... "Extended" can give you more screen from the primary, to the right, or bottom, of the Primary Display.

Sorry for the delay in getting back on this - I did not have access to email or internet. Thanks IronSounds but i did have the extended mode selected however; i did not see "clone mode" or "duplicate mode" as an option.

This is resolved. Windows Display settings needed adjustment. Thanks for your help.
