ASUS 6950 for Gaming/Video/Graphic Editing

Hi there,

I've almost completed my build. Heres what I have so far:

ASUS Z68-V Pro + Intel i7 2600k = 450
ASUS 24B1ST DVDRW = 20
ASUS VE247H 24" LED LCD 2ms = 160
Corsair 600T = 120
Corsair TX750 V2 = 100
Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz = 70
Corsair A70 = 30
WD 1.5TB 15EARS 64MB 7200rpm SATA = 50

Total so far: 1000

Everything working fine. 27C idle temps. Haven't tried overclocking yet. Still getting around to updating drivers and BIOS.

Just have the video card and ssd remaining.

I wanted to know, should I go for ASUS 6870 or ASUS 6950 both 1GB. Theres about an 80 dollar difference. I'm leaning towards the 6950 but I also wanted to know whats the lowest price you've seen for the ASUS 6950 DirectCU II 1GB? Right now its at 288 (268 after 20 dollar rebate)

Also, for the ssd, how is the Corsair Force 3 60GB? And whats the lowest you've seen it at? Its at 115 (95 after 20 dollar rebate) right now.

depending on what video editing and graphic editing software you're using, you may wish to consider an nvidia card.

Photoshop CS5 and Sony Vegas 10 are compatible with the 6950.
Games run on it fine too.

Do you know whats a good price for the asus 6950 1gb these days?
